As part of our service at Pauls Build Services we provide a full design service for your Project. We will work with you to review a range of designs to achieve the maximum space available in your proposed loft or extension.Once we have on a quotation our Technical designer will carry out the following tasks.

Planned Tasks

• • Carry out a Detailed property survey
  • Production of working Computer Aided Design drawings
  • If required we will make the submission to planning and building control
  • We will work with the site team to resolve any on site issues that may occur

Planning applications and Permitted developments:

In October 2013 the Permitted development rights were relaxed to allow extra flexibility when carrying out extensions and loft conversions without the need to apply for planning permission which is fabulous news for home owners! Our technical designer will work with you to ensure you achieve the maximum extension or loft conversion allowable under permitted development. If your project does requires planning permission we will act as your agent and apply on your behalf. Once we have obtained the planning / certificate of lawfulness, you have 5 years in which to complete the project.

Building regulations:

As part of the design process Paul’s Building Services will submit your project to an approved building inspector and will liaise with them on your behalf throughout the process.
